See SSH for more details. You need to have a Mac computer with WI-FI connectivity. SkeedEye Setup Step 1: You need to have your iPhone logged in to your Mac computer over Wi-Fi. Connect your iPhone to your Mac via Wi-Fi. Step 2: If you don't already have an SSH server configured, now is the time to do so. On your Mac computer: Click the Apple icon, then Preferences, then select the Sharing category. In the list that appears under the Server section, look for Open SSH Server on this computer. If you want to get root access to your iphone, you'll have to enter the root user's password over ssh. You just tell the server where your iphone is (or, if you don't know, where it's connected over USB). After that, the server automatically starts and logs in as root, grabs the files and saves them on your mac. The server can be started at any time by selecting the start-button (or typing "skeeEye"). Once it has been started, you can grab photos, music and videos from your iphone or iPod touch using the snamiee app. To grab photos: Press the button (or select) "snamiee" in the menubar (or type'snamiee'). The server will launch, and log in as root. After that, the "Select Images..." window will open. You can navigate around the ipod's memory and pick the photos you want. Once you've picked them, press the "Start" button to start the grabbing process. This can take a while if your ipod is big.
